Prayer for someone who's worried

May the favor of the Lord and men (women) are upon you.
May you have the anointing of Joseph so that you shall prosper in whatever you do.
God will cloth you with the garment of salvation, and the robe of righteousness so that you may draw near to the throne of grace with the confidence that you would receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Take heart! My dear sister/brother in Christ. If God is for you who can against you.

May you have peace and joy even in the midst of turmoil.

—A sister's prayer

What to do when you are reporting to a difficult manager

Just be open to God's will. Going to a more supportive manager does not mean more peace.  Being in the center of God's will should give you that.

Just pray for God's providence and faithfulness.  If you end up with a mean manager, God might have put you there to reach out to him. Who knows? When Joseph was sold to Egypt, who can think of that as God's will? But it was.

So always think that God is in control. And nothing happens outside His approval. And He loves you a lot. One nice thing about having kids if that you can feel what a father feels like to love your own child. You have the urge to protect and to sacrifice all.  If I, a regular guy can love my kids like that,  how much more our God can love us?  I know you love your kids (or nephews and nieces) a lot. But God loves you more than that! Isn't that amazing? That always gives me comfort.

So pray. Don't worry. He will protect you.

At the same time, try to do everything you can to avoid the difficult situation. But don't worry about the result too much. You can only control a few things, but God can control all.
